Biodegradable Glasses
These biodegradable glasses are made from PLA, which is a plastic resin made from corn starch. These plastic pint glasses seem just like any other plastic glass. They are strong, clear and completely fit for purpose. Moreover, a flat or dome lid is available separately. Unlike oil-based plastics, cornstarch is a renewable resource. However, to get the full benefit from using PLA, we advise that you compost these glasses in properly maintained facilities. It will take between 60 and 180 days for the product to decompose in such conditions.
