Lite@Nite St.Albans to Heathrow Team
All In One Merchandise’s Damien Ellis helped with passing the baton from Thistle St.Albans to Thistle Heathrow on Sunday 8th September by cycling 25 miles for the Children’s Society. It was part of a National campaign to cover 1400 miles from Inverness to London for 6 children’s charities in the UK. Helped by a superb team from the Thistle Hotel in St.Albans, the team rode through the day to achieve its mission. Damien who had already raised £65 before the event yesterday and there were still more friends and family who have said they would pledge money to help increase the final total. After the event Damien said.” It was a fun day and we had some good weather in the morning which made it even more enjoyable. The chosen route went through some nice scenery along the canal and I have already said I would take part in next year’s charity event, so who knows what this may entail.”
